’Amour’s line of haute couture has won him international acclaim. His artistic fashions have graced the pages of numerous magazines, including Bride Noir, Ebony, Jet and Urban Flava. His penchant for using materials in unexpected contexts and combinations has translated to legendary celebrities such as Bill Cosby, Miles Davis and Eddie Murphy wearing his designs. L’Amour Ameer has a wide spectrum of talent and credentials. He attended Sinclair Community College where he majored in Business Administration, Business Law and Fine Arts. He also attended Dayton Art Institute and the Living Arts Center…where creativity, spirituality and psychology meet.
Ameer has showcased his resplendent designs in countless fashion shows and on a variety of stars, personalities and legends. He is not only a chic designer, skilled in the areas of fashion illustration, but he is also a multi-gender stylist. L’Amour seems to have it all when it comes to fashion sense, and he takes pride in being an interior designer as well. To top it all off, he is proficient in hand-beading and can even use a variety of complex sewing machines to support his unique creations.

L’Amour’s expertise is not geared towards one gender or age group. His fashions are designed for all occasions- for men, women and children. His prestigious apparel has appeared in an array of magazines and he has participated in prestigious shows and events such as: the Dayton Cultural Affairs, City Wide Kwanza Fashion Show, Black by Design, Ebony Fashion Fair, Miss Black America Ohio, and Dress for Success Inc.

The productions that L’Amour has been involved with are extensive as well. Along with having his designs showcased in a National Pringles commercial, this extremely talented and versatile designer has performed the duties of producing, designing, coordinating, directing and even modeling in productions such as: “Ritcherscale” Designer Fashion Showcase, “Dare to Wear I & II, an All Male Fashion Showcase, “Dare to Dream”, as well as his own, “L'Amour’s One Man Show”.

L’Amour has dressed a plethora of the world’s most highly recognized celebrities and his client list boasts some of the most acclaimed and prestigious stars of our time. The late legendary Miles Davis has worn his designs as well as living legend, Bill Cosby. Other popular celebrities that flock to L’Amour’s fashions are-hold on to your seats-Eddie Griffin, Alvin Chia, Dorian Harewood, and Michael Westbrook.
