Department Store vs. Drugstore

Featuring Armani vs. L'Oreal

Are you a designer name brand junkie? Or have you ventured into your local drugstore for your cosmetic needs? Or do you do both? For instance have you tried Giorgio Armani's Maestro fusion makeup liquid foundation? Or the more affordable L'Oreal's Magic Nude Liquid Powder? If you have, do you think the designer brand is worth the additional cost? Or are you satisfied with the quality of the less pricey alternative? Let us know what you think.

Ladies don't go out and buy the expensive brand because most of the high-end companies also make the drugstore brand. I heard that Lancome makes L'Oreal, or one of the others, don't quote me on it for exact labels.

I usually don't wear foundation, but as a rule I will buy the drugstore brand because they usually do the same thing without the huge price.

I have not tried the Armani product but I have sampled the L'Oreal. I really don't care about the name on the product as long as it works, but you guys know me-I will always usually go for the bargain first!
