We are seeing a resurgence of the midi-length; a skirt or dress hemline hitting below the knee to mid-calf. Once popular during the 1940s, the midi-length was brought back in 1970. After the popularity of the mini skirt in the 1960s, women were none to pleased about this below the knee length. Now, however, designers like Oscar de la Renta, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Victoria Beckham and The Row are making Fashionistas think twice. With a refinement to the hemline and enough accessories to pull the look off without looking dowdy, we at MyCloset are interested to see how far this trend will reach.
