Oh yes. I love a good swing coat. They are elegant and perfect for going out at night when you want to be dressed a little more than casual.

I do think the updated ponchos and swing coats are nice. You know we ladies like to mix things up so it is a nice change from a regular coat or sweater.

I like ponchos. I think as long as you update it and make it fashionably current, it could work. I actually have 2 or 3 of them in my closet right now.
