Back in the 1990s, the crop top was all the rage in fashion. Thanks to movies like Clueless, showing off your midriff was a must for young ladies. Well, in case you hadn’t already guessed, the crop top is back with a vengeance. This time though, we are seeing a dressier version along with the more casual tops. Whether it’s in the form of a neat contrasting color as seen on singer Janelle Monae while strutting her stuff on the red carpet, a basic cropped tee or a bandeau style top under a sheer blouse, the crop comes in a variety of shapes and sizes.
