n one, hot, Fall night, thousands of cocktail dresses and sophisticated suits filled a historic Navy building, lakeside, in Seattle, Washington for a chic night of fashion.

For its fifth successful year, “Fashion First” brought out the most stylish men and women as the most popular local boutiques gave a preview of their Fall/Winter inventories. We saw skinny jeans continue their stay with layered separates and chunky sweaters…and ruffles adorning everything from t-shirts to evening gowns.

Also in the spotlight on this night, a runway set featuring the winning designers from “Seamless In Seattle”, a Project-Runway-inspired contest hosted by Seattle Magazine. (MyCloset.com sponsored the set for the winners.)
