Anna Molinari is the designer behind the label Blumarine which she founded in 1977 with her husband Gianpaolo Tarabini. A native of Capri, Italy, Anna Molinari's parents owned a knitwear factory where the designer honed his technical skills. With the help of Franco Moschino, the fledging label Blumarine developed its own look and style. Known for its modern and edgy romantic look, Blumarine made its debut at Milan Fashion Week in 1981. Over a decade later, the company launched the Anna Molinari label and it was shown in Milan in 1995.
