The gowns have a vintage quality, but the references are combined in a way that is truly modern. I have to agree with the others Homeschoolmama. Go with the company you trust and know that you're going to get a quality dress. And if it's beautiful the color doesn't matter as long as you like it.
HSM- I was not able to see the dress using the link you provided but I agree with Daphne. You should not risk purchasing from a company that you are unsure of for such an important event.
Homeschoolmama I would go with a company I trust. You wouldn't want to risk having something go terribly wrong, especially if the quality is in question.
Can I ask you all a question?
I'm less than a year from our 20th anniversary, and we'll be renewing our vows. I thought I'd order a pretty gown in chocolate brown. But I've been hearing stories about the company & their inability to get a dress shipped in a timely manner, as well as some nightmares about quality that have made me second-guess ordering through them.
Then this morning, I found this dress. (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/romantic-storyline-dress)
I LOVE the lace & chiffon, LOVE the modest neckline, and LOVE the defined-but-not-cinched waistline. I love that it would "go" with absolutely everything else I have planned, and the shape would look great on me. I even love that it's through Modcloth since I know & love their clothing already, AND it's $40 cheaper than the brown dress.
BUT... it's ivory. And I wasn't gonna "go there" with ivory because I DON'T want it to look like a bridal gown! So my question is... if it were you, would you wear an ivory dress, or keep shopping for a brown dress through a company you could trust?!?
