Wanting more from the style of clothing she encountered, Rene Chrisan, one half of Oli & Lina, made it a reality. Attending a myriad of “in-home parties” she grew tired of viewing the same type of items over and over again. Chrisan then decided to design the contemporary and chic clothing she craved and knew so many women would want. Soon after being introduced to Lisa Metcalf, who owned a consulting company, Chrisan hired her on to assist in the launch of her own business. It quickly became apparent that more was needed and a partnership was born. The first year brought about a vigorous sales effort which facilitated in an increasing client base and the selling of three collections, with plans to take the concept nationally.

Designer Facts:
Rene Chrisan worked in the garment industry for many years before launching Oli & Lina. Chrisan is a huge fan of Stella McCartney and Miuccia Prada.
