Bianca Terry

"Before I sketch, I have a vision of what I would like a garment to be. Visions of designs come at anytime and I have to be prepared to make a quick sketch."

Bonita by Bianca Terry was born out of a long-time love of fashion. It began in early childhood when Bianca’s interest in fashion was displayed through her constant modeling around the house in her mother’s clothes and shoes. Her favorite game during playdates was “Dress-up” and she never shied away from an opportunity to pose for the camera. She was indeed a fashionista in training. Bianca took her interest to the next level when she pleaded with her mom in the check-out line at a grocery store to purchase a Bazaar magazine. From that moment forward Bianca read and studied various magazines. Though she studied business in school, she never lost sight of what her true calling was and never ceased striving to get there. After years of working in corporate America, avidly researching her passion, and encountering many road blocks; there was finally a breakthrough. Pieces began to fall into place. Suddenly she had a clear vision of how her plan would be implemented, and Bonita by Bianca Terry was born.

Designer Facts:
The one item in my closet I will never get rid of are my beloved Ugg boots – they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever slid my feet into.

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
Hey what was your favorite and least favorite dresses from the Emmy's? One of my favorites was Taraji P. Henson and I'm sorry but Heidi Klum's dress was a hot mess!
And if you really want to be dapper in your suit, match the tie to a handkerchief. Your shirt can also be a bold color or print. Have fun with your outfits!
I think the tie is the one place the man can show some individuality and style, so I would say go ahead an wear vibrant colors or fun, funky prints, whatever. I think it would be fun!
