Yilin Lee

"When I was young, I got into Japanese anime."

Born in Taipei, Taiwan and now living in Seattle, Washington, Yilin Lee brings her perspective to life with harmonious blends of sexy sophistication and contemporary design elements, dashed with a whimsical flair.

Yilin draws inspirations from her Chinese heritage and in her first collection “Nouvelle” she integrates modern interpretations of Asian details. Elements such as the bold colors, Origami-like structural details, and Chinese silk are used. 

Yilin Lee, a Seattle based designer who obtained her initial Business and Marketing degree at the University of Washington. Yilin solidified her artistic passion at the New York Fashion Academy (Ballard, WA). As a fashion designer, Yilin is dedicated to utilize her practical sensibility with her creative aesthetic.

In the Fall of 2008, Yilin graduates from the New York Fashion Academy. Afterward, she plans to tap into the fashion world using her unique vision and skills to create designs for today's women.

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
Hey what was your favorite and least favorite dresses from the Emmy's? One of my favorites was Taraji P. Henson and I'm sorry but Heidi Klum's dress was a hot mess!
And if you really want to be dapper in your suit, match the tie to a handkerchief. Your shirt can also be a bold color or print. Have fun with your outfits!
I think the tie is the one place the man can show some individuality and style, so I would say go ahead an wear vibrant colors or fun, funky prints, whatever. I think it would be fun!
