John Richmond

"People always say, 'Oh, you're the guy who did the leather jackets."

If you are a fashionista that believes that the jacket is THE thing, then designer John Richmand is your man. He has done the leather jacket, and redoes them, along with fabulous fitted wool peacoats with leather trim and a fur collar. But it doesn't stop there, his street-smart designs are sexy and sophisticated and draw the likes of Madonna, Annie Lennox and Mick Jagger. His jackets are fabulous, but so are his metallic gold bikinis and sheer delicately beaded hard-edged evening gowns for women, fitted black velvet suits for men, stunning jewelry, shoe and glasses lines. If you want your child to be the baddest kid in elementary school, dress him or her in John Richmond

John Richmond graduated design school in London in 1982 and immediately set up shop selling his designs. In the 1990s, he formed a partnership with Italian entrepreneur Saverio Moschillo. This savvy move has allowed John Richmond to use Moschillo's production and global distribution network. With an aggressive expansion and marketing plan, it is expected that John Richmond will have over 100 stores in the main fashion markets by 2010.

Designer Facts:

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
Hey what was your favorite and least favorite dresses from the Emmy's? One of my favorites was Taraji P. Henson and I'm sorry but Heidi Klum's dress was a hot mess!
And if you really want to be dapper in your suit, match the tie to a handkerchief. Your shirt can also be a bold color or print. Have fun with your outfits!
I think the tie is the one place the man can show some individuality and style, so I would say go ahead an wear vibrant colors or fun, funky prints, whatever. I think it would be fun!
