Alicia Sanchez

"My passion is creating artwork for people to wear, through their own personal identity. It doesn’t have to be in style, as long as it looks good."

Alicia Sanchez was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and has lived in Florida, New York, and Connecticut. She has traveled to many countries that influenced her designs such as London, Puerto Rico, Paris, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, and of course her native country, the beautiful Dominican Republic.

Alicia Sanchez hits the fashion scene with her new line Favala. Her line is fresh and hip with many inspirations taken from all spectrums of fashion- from funk to street to Caribbean flavors. Favala allows you to bring out your own personal style without breaking the bank. Embracing her Dominican heritage, Alicia Sanchez incorporates many vibrant colors and unique designs to her new line. Her designs are basic with the focus on the fabrics with bright colors; they might not represent fashion trends but when someone wears Favala they’re left feeling passionate and unique.

Designer Facts:
If I could only shop at one store... It would be Charity Shops,( a.k.a thrift stores) I love vintage.

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
Hey what was your favorite and least favorite dresses from the Emmy's? One of my favorites was Taraji P. Henson and I'm sorry but Heidi Klum's dress was a hot mess!
And if you really want to be dapper in your suit, match the tie to a handkerchief. Your shirt can also be a bold color or print. Have fun with your outfits!
I think the tie is the one place the man can show some individuality and style, so I would say go ahead an wear vibrant colors or fun, funky prints, whatever. I think it would be fun!
