"Fashion is like a walking painting...always sexy, elegant and out of the box."
Yasser Faraco was born in Cuba and moved to the United States at the age of 12 and currently resides in beautiful Miami, Florida. Although he had a natural path to fashion, having a mother who would make his and his sisters’ clothing and a grandmother who was a professional seamstress, Yasser’s entry into the fashion world came later as he became an adult.
His love for fashion and a flair for the eccentric was not evident in his teen years as his style was self-described as calm and kind of preppy. His interests in the arts developed as he got older and he gained a great deal of interest in fashion around the age of 21, when he joined the “Legendary House of Ninja”, founded by the late Willie Ninja (God Father of Vogue) which is an underground group of models, artists, designers and dancers.
His association with this group opened the world of fashion and creativity. He began designing men's clothing and ventured into women's couture and ready-to-wear.
If I could bring back any fashion trend, it would be the whole 50's era-would love it to come back.
