heir number one seller is the “Snap Skirt”, which sells for $80. It wraps and snaps all the way around to give you versatility and accommodate those days when you’ve put on a few extra pounds (or at least feel like it). The “Snap Skirt” led to the “Snap Jumper”, a longer, apron-inspired dress, which goes for $124ish, d.o.f. (depending on fabric). It’s Potter’s favorite item in her closet.

We visited the Park Slope store in Brooklyn, New York, on the Fifth Avenue - the other Fifth Avenue (otherwise known as Brooklyn’s main stretch of indie boutiques). There’s another Flirt in Carroll Gardens, also in Brooklyn. The creative trio also owns a third store in Brooklyn, called “Home Ec”, which offers sewing and knitting classes for the DIY fashionista.

While at Flirt, look for the mini-collection of kids’ clothes and personality-packed accessories such as rings with monkey images, branch and birdcage-etched leather boots, and tote bags that promote…what else? Brooklyn.
