assyBB is more than your everyday ordinary boutique. It is a beautiful design studio where you design your own handbag from start to finish. Not to worry, there is no sewing involved. The boutique takes care of the sewing, you just enjoy the fun of designing the bag. The process is very fun and simple. First, you pick out a style. There are 14 different fun shapes and sizes to choose from. Each classic style is named after a dance. So one day you may be in the mood for the "Electric Slide" and for a night out on the town, you may want a "Jitterbug". The decision is totally up to you. And to keep things interesting, a fabulous new style is introduced to the collection each quarter.

Once your style has been selected, you choose the handle or in some cases the color of the hardware. The fun is only beginning when you get to choose a fabric for your bag-and the fabrics seem to be endless in variety. The owner, Kerry Szymanski, orders very limited quantities of each fabric to ensure a one-of-a-kind bag for customers. Vibrant colors, fun prints and fabulous textures ensure a totally unique bag for all tastes and style preferences. As we observed, there are a variety of styles and they include: a tote bag which doubles as a beach bag, a wine bottle bag, which makes a great gift (especially if you add a bottle of wine), a messenger bag that can be used as a laptop case, and there is even a bag that is perfect for your yoga mat! We just love the multiple options and the fun, whimsical colorful fabrics.

Among the many great features that make SassyBB a special place are the Purse Parties which can be held at the boutique or in the comfort of your own home or other venue. Purse Parties are wonderful alternatives for Bridal Showers, Bachelorette parties, Networking events, and birthday parties to say the least. There are even 'Fashion Diva' parties for the little princess in your life. Talk about a great slumber party! Your guests will have the time of their lives designing one-of-a-kind handbags that they can boast as their own unique design. The hostess will even receive a complimentary one-of-a-kind handbag. The parties can be scheduled at the boutique or you can arrange for a party held in a more personal setting.

For even more fun and diversity, SassyBB also offers sewing classes. Students will learn the fundamentals of sewing and will be taught to make interesting items from aprons to shirts. All classes are private or semi-private and are taught by a skilled fashion professor from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
