Each chosen person was entered into a raffle in which two winners would be chosen to hack through a block of ice to get gift cards to the popular fashion boutique, Intrigue Couture, located in the Broward Mall.

The event was covered by local news Deco Drive, hosted by Ellie Rodriguez who appeared on the red carpet. Deco Drive telecasted the ice breaking event for that evening's live broadcast. On-lookers cheered the lucky winners on as they used stilettos and then ice picks to break through the ice for the prizes. The drawing was based on a popular scene in the movie in which the main character, Rebecca Bloomwood, played by Isla Fischer, frees her frozen credit card from a block of ice in order to go on a shopping spree for a "must-have" new dress. The fortunate winners received a gift card for $100 and a gift card for $150 for the stylish boutique, Intrigue Couture.
