I haven't tried gel nail polish yet. But it seems like a good idea. I see all kinds of kits in the stores now, with or without the light.

I did get a chance to try gel nail polish and I like the way it looks. However, it has almost the same effect as acrylics leaving my nails thin and weak after removing. So while I do love the look I don't think that I will get gel manicures regularly. I will probably only indulge if I am going on vacation or special occasion.
