Mineral Makeup

Mineral makeup is known more for what it doesn't contain rather than what it does. They typically do not contain preservatives, parabens, oils, chemical dyes, and fragrances. Because they don't have what may be skin irritants, they are recommended by many dermatologists. Other benefits include built-in natural sunblock, less reaction on women with sensitive skin and it does not aggravate acne-prone skin. Mineral makeup has evolved far beyond its beginnings as a loose powder foundation. Today, you can find blush, bronzer, eye shadow, lipstick, and even liquid foundations that are touted as mineral products. A few to try Bare Escentuals, Sheer Cover, and bare Minerals. Even popular drugstore brands are adding mineral makeup to their product lines such as Revlon, Maybelline and Ruby Kisses. Do you have a favorite brand of mineral makeup? Have you experienced any of the benefits?
