Born April 20, 1972 in Sharonville, Ohio as Tara Leigh Patrick.

Got her first break when a scout for Prince spotted her fronting for a rap group in Los Angeles. Prince helped Carmen to produce her first and only album in 1992.

Carmen began appearing in television shows in 1995, however it was her appearance in Playboy Magazine that led to her stints on Baywatch, both the television show and the movie (2003).

Carmen began her six-month-long marriage to basketball player Dennis Rodman on November 14, 1998. In 2003, Carmen wed rocker David Navarro. They were divorced in February 2007.

In the past 10 years, Carmen has appeared in a number of films, including Scary Movie (2002) and the remake of Starsky & Hutch (2004).

In late 2006, Carmen segued into commercials for Taco Bell. She is also the current spokes model for Ritz Camera Centers.
