andice Held is based in Los Angeles. In addition to creating one-of-a-kind pieces with recycled scarves for Candice Held Vintage, she also designs original prints and silhouettes for her namesake line.

Miss Held cultivated her appreciation for the beauty of the human body as a professional dancer. Her inspiration comes from her love of color, vitality, elegance, and fine details. Her vision is to accentuate and celebrate the female form and spirit.

A lifelong seamstress fond of fashioning her own outfits from thrift store finds, she refined her skills at the New York Fashion Academy in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. She studied draping, pattern making, and illustration.
