Charlotte Ronson: Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

Mark Ronson, the music producer of talents such as Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, creates innovative tracks, admired by such legends as Bob Dylan. Little sister Samantha “Sam” Ronson deejays celeb packed parties attended by friend Lindsay Lohan, in Los Angeles. But her twin sis, Charlotte is the equivalent of a rock star in Japan.
Charlotte Ronson, the twin sister of famous deejay Samantha Ronson, has always had an artistic style and a great fashion sense. Her world has never been the norm and besides for having a music producer for a brother, her step father is Mick Jones, guitarist for the band Foreigner, and her mother is writer and socialite Ann Dexter Jones. In fact, she was so impacted by these influences as a youngster that she developed and created fashions for her friends. This led Charolette to start her own clothing line called ‘C. Ronson’ . To date, her clothing line has been featured in worldly magazines such as Elle, Teen Vogue, the New York Times and Vogue.

At a party thrown at her flagship shop in Shivuya, Harajuku shopping district in Japan, hundreds of girls in head to toe Ronson asked for autographs and wore armbands that said, “I love Charlotte Ronson.” Charlotte now has 14 Charlotte Ronson boutiques in Japan and she has opened her own boutique in the Nolita neighborhood in Manhattan.

Charlotte’s clothing line can also be found at, and she’s in the process of editing her home closet. She opens up with…
When I was in London as a kid, I used to thrift shop in Kensington Market. When you’re a twin, it’s important to have you own identity and I could find it there.

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
