I've been doing a lot of shopping the past few days. It's been a challenge trying to incorporate the great ideas I've been given by all the fantastic people here into my new wardrobe. I've returned quite a few things after realizing I was going in a wrong direction, but I did find some items that I think will be good additions and I'm on the lookout for more.

I also found a very fun book called "Staging Your Comeback" by Christopher Hopkins. It has lots of suggestions for hair, makeup and clothes too.

My friend Cathleen will be very proud of me - I had basically given up on my appearance until she dragged me into self-improvement mode!
