So, I work at this restaurant/bar/nightclub and this weekend we had one of our biggest events of the summer-- Hottiefest. If you combined Cougartown with the Jersey Shore, you'd get this event. It's on the water and it's a nice atmosphere but the people are just horrible. Luckily, my best guy friend's dad owns the club and employs me there as a hostess so my friends and I all got free VIP tickets so we could go and drunkenly judge people all night. I ended the night blatantly yelling and pointing "MESH SHIRT MESH SHIRT MESH SHIRT!" at a man in- you guessed it- a mesh shirt. Horrendous.

I got off work and changed in the employee bathroom (NO NEED TO TELL ME HOW GLAM THAT IS). I decided to wear my American Eagle gray, off the shoulder shirt tucked into a black skirt with Forever21 gray, platform pumps. I wore one of my new American Eagle necklaces over the shirt as well.
I wanted to look cute and club-ish but not as skanky as all the people there. Most girls were in tight dresses and super high heels but that's not really my style. Even though that was the popular look of the event, I stuck to my own personal style and I didn't look out of place. I find it's always important to stay true to yourself and your style. You can't go wrong!
