xcited for the Fifth annual “Fashion First” event in Seattle, the city’s most fashionable and dedicated retail crowd emerged, eager to see what top boutiques in town would sell for Fall/Winter and the upcoming seasons. The backdrop was Seattle’s old headquarters for the U.S. Navy Reserve…now one of the most chic event venues in the city on Lake Union (home of the Sleepless In Seattle houseboat).

On the red carpet, not a ballet flat was in sight, as fashionistas turned up the stiletto heat to get in on the fun. One of the highlights of the show featured a coveted designer set sponsored by MyCloset.com for the winners of a local Project-Runway-inspired contest, “Seamless in Seattle” (put on by Seattle Magazine).
