hen the lights dimmed for the main event, we saw some of the city’s most popular runway vixens model an eclectic style mix, assembled by the area’s top retailers, such as Sway and Cake, Alhambra, and Canopy Blue.

Leading the way for retail racks this season: color, color, color…bursting out from a palette of neutrals (mostly black, olive & cream). Boutiques pieced together very sophisticated variations of designer chic, as well as menswear silhouettes that were roomy enough for comfort, yet fitted enough to show off a woman’s form. Cashmere scarves, fur-lined separates and boots (both flat and heeled) headlined the accessory story.

Our “Seamless In Seattle” winner, Karly Orr, shared her satin tunics, alongside a glamorous evening gown of black pleating, gathers, and tiers.

We could not ignore the fact that just about every outfit to grace the runway was decorated with a killer, big handbag. Color? Red wins, for all seasons!
