I have been collecting shot glasses for about 7 years.

Mostly my shot glasses are from cities around the United States. Some are very colorful and have printing on them that represent well-known landmarks from that particular city.

I always thought that shot glasses were cute and just fun. So once I was visiting my grandmother in Orlando, I saw a nice colorful shot glass and decided to purchase one for a friend.

I bought a Florida shot glass for a friend and liked it so much, I ended up keeping it! Then whenever I traveled I started picking up new ones. I have even received them as gifts from friends since they know that I collect them.

My favorites are the tall slender shot glasses. I especially like the one from Planet Hollywood in Paris that a friend brought back for me. And I really like the Playboy one because the bunny is outlined in shiny crystals.

I'm starting a African and Asian mask collection. I will definitely display it once I get enough pieces together.

I usually choose the ones that appeal to my eyes. I like the ones that are simple, or frosted. But at the same time I do like some of the more colorful designs.

One thing I would like to start collecting is all the U.S. cities' football team shot glasses. Since I love football I might as well combine the two! I was recently in Cleveland, Ohio and purchased a Cleveland Browns shot glass to get me started.
