Camilla Staerk: Glamour, New Rave, and Mirrored Shoes. Rockin edge melds with New York chic. The syle of Camilla's collections could be classified as 'gothic chic' with a little bit of 'romance' thrown in. Her personal style is more Black Beauty mixed with quite a bit of Vintage Maven.

Developing an influential style is not easy to do in today's fashion world but Camilla seems to have done just that. Her collection gives a 'new edge' interpretation of leather jackets and dresses, fur, architectural black, and an inviting new version of the jumpsuit. Not only does Camilla's collection have a youth following but she has a star studded one as well. PJ Harvey, Madonna, The Raveonettes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Margot Stilley, Sarah Jessica Parker, Liv Tyler, Julianne Moore and Helena Christensen all wear her designs. Some even emulate her personal 'gothic chic' look at times.

MyCloset.com asked Camilla more about her personal style. She stated that she was influenced by the writer of "Out of Africa"-she wore black head scarves all of the time. The designer's shades are signature for today's times, 'in vogue' and complete her mysterious dark beauty look.
