The cape is no longer a just a costume piece or thing of the past. During the fall and winter months the cape will be seen far and wide. Ponchos have slowly been making it back into our closets and coats have been changing shapes over the years, so it is no wonder designers would blend the two resulting in the now popular cape-coat. With celebrities like Zooey Deschanel, Jessica Biel, Kate Middleton, Kristin Chenowith and Queen Latifah (left) already getting in on the trend it is just a matter of time before this look becomes must-have for every fashionista.
