Enter, turn left from the foyer, and you’ll be floating in a sea of silk and chiffon. This is the Bridal space within the boutique. Obviously the dominant color is white, but you’ll notice brides and bridesmaids gowns in colors like champagne, peach, gray, and chamomile, which tells you something about the designer herself. “I have a love affair with color,” says Luly Yang, the designer, and store owner.

When Luly first opened her retail space, bridal was her focus. Several years later, people still travel here to have her design custom couture for a bride’s special day.

Intricate embroidery and beadwork is combined with dress lines that are, all at once, timeless and au moment. The designer pays special attention to the bodies of her clients, since she was an aerobics instructor for years. She creates and shapes her pieces to love the body.

Across the store from Bridal is a place for dreams. Right now, Luly’s evening gown collection is called “Dreams Take Flight”, featuring designs born from her childhood dreams. Here, you’ll find the most delicious evening attire in a range of colors, suggesting the “Aurora Borealis” (magentas and sunlight) and “Moonlight Over the Atlantic” (blue hues). Here, clients are also treated with special care. Their gowns can be one of a kind or inspired by the newest collection at hand.

For both bridal and evening, dresses are well into the thousands.
