ashion lovers, students, faculty and alumni mingled the evening away as they enjoyed the wine, art and fashion. Design students and alumni were given the task of creating a one-of-a-kind "red ribbon" inspired dress. The participating designers were Jacinta Ligon, Sheila Rodriguez, Jasmine Whiteside, Eunah Lee, Nathan Carter, Pascal Webber, Carmen Laster, Patrick Kearse, David Raymo, Glavidia Alexis, and Francisco Quadros. Each designer created a unique garment that represented their own style. The dresses varied from the bohemian to the very chic. Even though all were well-designed and award worthy, there could only be two winners. The First Place Ribbon went to Carrie Corcoran and Second Place went to Francisco Quadros.

Sponsored by the Simon Group, the gala was a huge success, using art and fashion to bring awareness to the AIDS pandemic prevalent in our society today.
