DESIGNER'S DOORWAY

Blayne Walsh

Blayne It On the Rain

Color, color, color. And Adam Ant. Richard Blayne, the name of Blayne Walsh’s new, post-Project Runway line, channels the 80's as it sits in today’s fashion world, with neon, bright tones and a whole lot of punk attitude.

Blayne Walsh wants to be on Gossip Girl. “If I got two spots to be on the show, that would make my life,” he told MyCloset.com. The 20-something designer who made a name for himself as the tan-obsessed purveyor of creative phraseology – but no challenge-winning designs – still likes the idea of being on TV, post Project Runway.

This may come as a bit of surprise, since the perils of celebrity came with not-so-nice gossip on blogs and Internet press. “The biggest thing now is that I’m careful what I do because people know me. I’m not a star struck person, so it’s weird to me to have it happen to me.”
I’m a streetwear designer. Throw it on. Look hot.
