ho could forget Nick Verreos from his unforgettable appearance on Project Runway Season 2, but for us it wasn’t just Nick’s witty behavior that made him stick in our minds. As an established designer and teacher, Nick is, and will always be, a MyCloset.com favorite! He embodies talent and attention to detail that is tough to find in many of today’s fresh designers. Heavy with anticipation, we were welcomed into one of his Nikolaki Showrooms to give us a sneak peak of some of his favorite pieces of from his past collections-as well as his own personal prized possession. The morning was filled with a mix of hysterical catch phrases, dresses, dresses and even more dresses! In just a few short hours, we had seen everything from the fishtail hem dress Nancy O’Dell wore while she hosted the Miss Universe Pageant in 2006 to what Nick calls the “mullet dress,” simple in front but party in the back.

Although Nick has designed for stars and starlets alike, think Beyonce, Heidi Klum, and Carrie Underwood, our pick of the day went to the elegant, but sexy dress Nick designed for Miss California 2007, Meagan Tandy. Clearly we weren’t the only ones to think that since Meagan was the 3rd runner up at the Miss USA Pageant.

As curious as we were about the Nikolaki line, we were even more intrigued to know what goes on in Nick’s personal closet. He slowly opened up a drawer and told me to prepare myself as he revealed his prized possession…his accessories organizer! There were two very organized and divided out drawers filled with everything from amazing belts to a strange fur tail, we decided not to even ASK! After seeing all of that...we knew nothing could top his personal closet, so it was time for us to leave.

This fashion expert's line, NIKOLAKI, is currently sold in more than 100 stores around the world and keep looking, Nick has also shown up on numerous television shows! Keep it coming Nick-we love you!
