awana considers herself a multi-media artist choosing to create works of art that literally jump off the canvas. She has used materials such as recycled plastic bottles and plates and even plastic bags which she covers with plaster to create inventive unique pieces. She has converted a bedroom in her home into a fabulous art studio where she can construct her incredible works of art.


Jawana now resides in beautiful sunny Miami Beach, Florida and she continues to be inspired. She uses a combination of oil and acrylic paints as well as recycled materials to masterfully produce her wonderful creations. Her work has been featured in local galleries and she has received requests for exclusive pieces. She has even created a wonderful series in honor of the recent NBA Champions, the Miami Heat, featuring drawings of star players Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and League MVP, LeBron James.

We hope that this budding young artist continues to be inspired and inspirational. Her long term goal is to one day have a complete gallery showing of her amazing exclusive work.
