Cindy Greene is the female (New York) half of Libertine, the duo that revamps vintage fit for Karl Lagerfeld. (He’s a big fan.)
 
 
Greene and (LA based) partner Johnson Hartig raid treasures from decades past, and then sew on crystals and decals to bring it to the 21st century.

Just like the clothes, Greene has recreated herself, from film student at the Art Institute of Chicago, to Corporate Apparel Design Director at DKNY, five years as a back up singer with Lizzy Yoder, for elect clash band Fischerspooner, and now full time clothing designer.
