So many people are AMAZED that a woman in a wheelchair chooses to DRESS her feet in style! Why? Not sure but after my Brain Injury, I was told I would need to use a wheelchair. One of the first questions were, "Well, can I still wear heels?" Medical support team: Physical Therapist, Doctors and Wheelchair provider didn't think it was a good way to position my feet but after years of modeling and styling my arches can't bear the flat look and feel of sneakers. So, it has become EXPECTED that the feet will meet the challenge, regardless of cost. No need to IGNORE my feet just because I'm not upright. In fact, when people ask, "How do you walk in such HIGH heels?" My response is, "I don't have to...LOL!" Besides, a little bird told me that I will walk again. So I figured, if I stay ready, I don't have to get ready! Until then I will ROLL in style and WALK in spirit - either way, my feet will be FABULOUS!
