I started this collection many years ago when I first visited Las Vegas. They had so many different and interesting matchbooks that I just starting picking them up from each place that I visited. As I began to travel more, my interest in collecting matchbooks grew. I get really excited when I go to restaurants that have beautiful or unusual matchbook covers. Matchbooks make great souvenirs. They don't cost you anything and serve as wonderful reminders of where you have been.
