Laura Pimentel

aLucca is a distinctive well-crafted line of the finest in leather accessories. LaLucca's designs are easily recognizable by the vibrant colors, attention to detail, and high quality leathers.
Born in the Dominican Republic and trained in Europe and the U.S., head designer Laura Pimentel is the brain-child behind the fabulous LaLucca Accessories line. Laura was destined to become an extraordinary designer given either of her initial choices in careers. First she studied in Barcelona where she enrolled in an interior design program from which she earned a Masterís Degree. She then moved back to the Dominican Republic to pursue her career. Laura realized that Interior Design did not make her happy and eventually she decided to come to America to make jewelry.

She began classes at the Art Institute in Miami, Florida. She enrolled in the Accessory Design Program to study jewelry design. It must have been fate, because within that program was a handbag class, and for Laura, thatís when it all started. She instantly fell in love with making handbags. She always loved handbags, but never knew that she could create them. As part of her class for her final project, she made a line of handbags that was showcased at Funkshion, Fashion Week in Miami Beach. Lauraís designs won the Best Accessories category. She finally found her true passion! The rest, as they say, is history!
I love to create unique designer handbags that convey bold statements.

I loved Taraji P. Henson as well. She looked flawless from head to toe. I also liked Jaimie Alexander, it was different and fun. What was Heidi thinking? Her dress was definitely my least favorite.
Hey what was your favorite and least favorite dresses from the Emmy's? One of my favorites was Taraji P. Henson and I'm sorry but Heidi Klum's dress was a hot mess!
And if you really want to be dapper in your suit, match the tie to a handkerchief. Your shirt can also be a bold color or print. Have fun with your outfits!
I think the tie is the one place the man can show some individuality and style, so I would say go ahead an wear vibrant colors or fun, funky prints, whatever. I think it would be fun!
