RG: CHARLOTTE RAMPLING IS GORGEOUS. I DON’T HAVE MUSES LIKE THAT BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE… CASUAL BUT CHIC AT THE SAME TIME. FRENCH WOMEN. THEY MANAGE TO PULL IT OFF MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY JUST THREW IT TOGETHER AND IT’S SO CHIC.

RG: MY DAD. HE WAS IN THE AIR FORCE. HE WOULD WEAR THESE ZIP UP THE FRONT FLIGHT BOOTS, TAPERED BLACK JEANS, A BOMBER JACKET, AND A BERET. HE WAS STATIONED IN KOREA DURING VIETNAM. HE WOULD WEAR THE SQUARE AVIATORS. HE IS ALWAYS WEARING SOME ECLECTIC BIZARRE OUTFIT, BUT IT’S NOT AS SHARP TODAY. MY FATHER TEACHES SOCIOLOGY AT KENT STATE. HE WEARS A SUIT AND TIE. THEN HE’LL COME HOME, WORK UNDER THE CAR WITH A SUIT ON.

What is your biggest fashion faux pas?

RG: SOME OF THE CRAZY WASHES I’VE TRIED. CRAZY BIZARRE DYE JOBS. LOOKED LIKE A TIE DYED CANDLES. COOL IDEA FOR A CANDLE.

Jeans – fold them on center crease. Dresses – I think the hanger with a wide top. Cheap plastic hanger ruins the shape of it. Use well made shoulder hangers.

How is your personal closet arranged?

RG: I STOCK A LOT OF STUFF I’M NOT USING. I LIKE THINGS ORGANIZED ACCORDING TO COLOR. I WOULD NOT THROW AWAY ANYTHING IN MY CLOSET. BUT I MIGHT GIVE SOMETHING AWAY TO SOMEONE.

If there was a flood, what would you save from your closet and why?

RG: DEFINITELY A PAIR OF LOOMSTATE SWIM TRUNKS BECAUSE IT’S A FLOOD. I WANT TO LIVE SOME DAY IN SWIM TRUNKS AND SURF SHORTS. I WOULD RATHER NOT WEAR ANY CLOTHES. A COUPLE PAIRS OF JEANS THAT I LOVE. A PIECE OF DRIFTWOOD THAT LOOKS LIKE A SEAL. I FOUND IT ON A BEACH IN CANADA. AND A COOL JAPANESE WOODEN PUZZLE FROM A FLEA MARKET IN TOKYO.
